I’ve got an old school three burner Weber Genesis I rehabbed a few years ago, and it runs great. I fired it up just now in preparation for this afternoon's cooking, and got a weird noise.

I start with burner #1 on High, then turned on burner #2 on High, then burner #3 on High. When I turned on burner #3. I got this new noise (no noise before). The noise diminishes when I turn the burners to a lower setting.

Wonder what it is? Listen here: 45 seconds

That’s a new alarm system required under The New Green Deal. It is to notify the woke that some worthless conservative is wasting gas without actually cooking anything. Expect a visit soon from AOC. o_O

Try this. It is something I found out about on several gas grills with issues. Might not fix your problem but it won't hurt.

Turn the burners off. Turn the tank off. Remove the hose at the tank. Turn all burners on full and wait 5-10 minutes. Turn burners off. Hook hose back to tank and turn tank on. You should here a distinct click. Light burners and see if you still have the problem.

Do you leave the burners “on”, not lit, but “on” when you reattach the hose and turn the tank on?

never mind. Poor reading comprehension on my part. I’ll try that.

I have the exact same grill and sometimes get a similar sound.

Well how about that. I didn’t hear the “distinct click”, but it doesn’t make that weird noise anymore.

I only et seven wings tonight.
They was good.
Sorry, no pics.
I am however, road-testing my way too expensive new dishwasher I installed last week.
