Well it happened

That sucks. Mine just went off but came right back on here in southeast Charlotte. I hope it stays on but I'm not counting on it.

Lost ours for about 8 hours yesterday but it is flickering now.

We lost power Thursday from 0600 to 0930 then from 1600 to 1200 yesterday. It went out again sometime esrmy this morning.

Ours was down for about 28 hours yesterday, but we’re in a rural area and not high on the priority list for resolution.

And this is where I feel the most fortunate. Through all of this (I realize it's not over), we have always had power.

I was full ready to fire up the generator. Maybe I won't need to this go round.

A CMPD officer just told me that calls on trees falling are increasing.
This episode has also precipitated a set of generator maintenance projects going forward.

Haven't lost power yet and I just put the chairs back on the front porch and back patio. So you know a huge gust and fluke storm or tornado will hit Apex soon.

They were going to have shut down the Wilmington water plant in 48 hours until they just announced they secured an emergency fuel source to run the generators.

We lost one leg at our office building in downtown Raleigh on Friday 2am, back on today at 4PM.
We have a 100KW generator to keep our data center online.

Just lost power, transformer exploded like a bomb up the road a piece. Neighbor said there was a big pine across the road below his house. The storm is the worst it has been for us right now.
