Bought a 300 piece jug of assorted wirenuts.

Only cost me $100.

'Cause the Kobalt oscillating saw I've had my eye on for a while was on sale for $20 off their usual $99.

I need to pick up a tool bag for it, next.

This will replace my other buzz saw a brother of mine gave me years ago. Next trip home from work I'll dig it up and give it to its new adoptive owner.

Just opened it up this morning. Turns out it comes with its own bag! I didn't notice that when I first looked at the tiny contents list!

@Me. I bought the 6 1/2 inch circular saw just before Christmas. It was on sale, too. Works like a charm!

I've had a Bosch cordless drill for years, still going strong. But a couple years ago I needed a buffer and Kobalt was the only brand that had one at Lowes. They had a special going on...buy a tool, get the double battery pack and charger for free. That started my journey down the Kobalt path.

I've been pleased with every tool I've gotten since (this is the fourth) and I keep an eye out for sale prices on the next one on my list.

They have their drill for $59 right now too. It’s amazing how they multiply when you see sales with a common battery.

@RetiredUSNChief make sure you save the receipts. Their 5 year warranty really is no hassle but they only keep card transactions for 2+- years so the look up is hard. With a receipt, just walk into the store and they’ll handle the return. I had a chainsaw quit, drill and job site blower were acting up. They replaced all three even though two kinda still worked.

If you are lucky. My 6¹/² circle saw quit in the warranty period. It was a gift so no receipt. They looked it up and found.the sale. Told me it was covered but I had to call Kobalt. Called them.they said no need to call, just take it to store and exchange. Back to store and told them what Kobalt said. They said I has to call Kobalt. Called kobalt told them what store said and spent over an hour on the phone this time. They said store should just replace it. Back to store for the third time. Over 120 miles traveling to store by now and the store said to call Kobalt. I said no. I have already called and I am getting.the run around. Told them someone was going to do something Now. They exchanged it.

I always make the calls on these matters first, then if I have any issues I start climbing the chain at the store. The issue isn't with Kobalt...it's with the store. All the store has to do is claim the warranty exchange with Kobalt and Kobalt makes good with the store about it. It's not that difficult and the store should be proficient with this process.

Glad you got your issue resolved.
