Ill run this part, because, well , I like to eat. :D

I'll keep a running post in this first one on who and what's coming.
We should make this potluck easy for clean up too, I been to plenty of these where a huge platters were dropped off and then left for the 2 or 3 people at the end to clean up or throw away.

Don't forget, we'll be guest to a private owner allowing us to have a meet and shoot on their place so the utmost courtesy to their land will need to be used.

So, I suggesting that what you bring, please, at the end take the leftovers with you, unless you can make a deal with someone there to take it. Again, the clean up needs to be a group just as sharing it.
We'll add the same to the drinks, bring what you like, (sans beer, wine,alcohol ) and a few more to share.

Chairs, bring your own. I know I'll have a couple extra to share, but plan on your own.

Trash pick up, Well have to leave the place just as good or better when we leave. Watch for small bits of food, trash, wrappers on the ground. Only thing we should leave there is foot prints.
I'll bring some trash bags and can take 2 back with me to dispose of at home, We'll possibly need a couple more volunteers for other full bags of trash. Speak up if you can

I can bring a table, a couple of 33 gal. trash cans and bags, some lawn chairs, my grill (it ain't fancy, but it works- it has both charcoal and gas options). I could probably cook a pork butt. It would cool if several people brought a few smaller ones that we could have time to cook on site and we could sample different styles (SC, Eastern NC, Lexington styles, maybe some Memphis or KC)

Pork butt takes hours to cook, I'll be bringing mine from the cooking theday before. I want to shoot more than cooking the day of.

well if need be if we think anyone would want burgers I can get deals on hamburger meat fresh ground so its not that prepackaged crap just need an idea how much to get also chairs normally people will bring their own chairs but any extras can be used for those who don't have them to bring.

Got it cleared with She Who Must Be Obeyed for Sat the 7th. It's only 2 hours away so I'll drive up early, but have to leave early too since I have prior commitments on Sunday. I'll bring a couple of cases of Cokes.
 
^^^^^^Negative. She has to stay here and take care of the dogs. I'm just being let of the leash for a couple of hours. o_O

Three mutts rescued from the pound. Long story, but if we leave them for more than a couple of hours there are problems since they'll be kenneled/crated while we are gone. Wife doesn't mind me meeting up with other members on here just like on the other forum when I went to several M&Gs and got to be friends with @wolfpack65 and @Blackdog. Probably some others on here too with new names. But looking forward to meeting and getting to know a lot of new like-minded people from this forum too.
 
I haven't chimed in and can't totally commit, YET, since life is a slight mess, but I may be able to host a small group up in W. Jeff the night before and/or after this gathering. I have a few extra rooms, lots of floor space, deck space and about 6 acres of woods with a firepit. Could be a camping, cookout spot before and after the main event. Let me clear it with the BOSS and confirm. We can't really shoot here, but we can socialize and relax.

Guys, if I was going to be back in town by then, I would say yes, but I will still be out of state living the dream in my RV. Maybe next time, and who knows maybe we can get one going in the eastern part of the state where I am
 
I'll bring a few different types of soda to make sure some more to go around I'll bring a cooler my own chair. And Eddie hamburger sounds good enough to make myself a couple would be good, I'll bring myself hotdogs as well assuming a grill is available lol. I might advise people to bring water as well not just sodas lol I'll bring some paper plates and cups and silverware paper towels. If anyone has a tool that picks up spent shells the owner might appreciate clean up lol

I'll bring an iced 32 pack of water @Scari and anything else to fill in gaps. Paper products, targets, bail money, etc.
I'd be down for the night before meet, but wouldn't want to impose. Is there a hotel nearby?

Well I just meant for people to bring water for themselves to drink better than just sodas all the time lol

Well, I just happened to be cruising this thread. For whatever reason, there wasn't an alert for having been tagged. No matter.

Thanks @SSgt75 for the unhelpful correction. The post in question is actually #235, and when you pass the house, it will be on your STARBOARD side (as I carefully said). The house is to the right of where you'll be, if you're going the right (correct) way. If you go right, you'll be wrong. If you go left, you'll be right. If Eddie finds his deer, he'll paint you an arrow on that pic and repost it here, I'm sure.

My apologies. You are correct. I went back and reread the posts in question and saw that I had misread it.

why would it not to much has been put into it not for it to go on this is a meet /gathering shoot it has nothing to do with the crappy stuff that goes on the net so to speak it's to meet people we've known for a while and those we've just got to know. This is not the same as getting together in the chatbox or pm-img each other. mean we actually can meet talk get to know each other least for a short time. I've made friends each time i've went to one of these and crap that happens either here or other places on the net won't change that. so yes its still on least it is for me and the ones i've contacted

There's a place nearby. VERY nearby...Where there'll be some drinkin'...if you don't mind a little bit of gravel in your travel.
