What are you drinking?

It is a sneaky Imperial IPA at 7.7 ABV. Super smooth with more of a golden look to it but it packs a punch.

My wife was out shopping today while I was working on the race car and came home with a bottle of Smooth Ambler American Whiskey and a bottle of their contradiction as well so early Merry Christmas to me
 
I'm not really sure what to think about this one. It tastes like someone sprayed a pine scented cleaning product into my beer. It's not a good pine taste either. Idk... wish I could taste it on a clean palette, but I've had 5 different beers tonight so that ain't gonna happen. I'm gonna drink it though... cause I needs me buzz & this is the last beer I have. :(

Ya I didn't like it either. It has the pine flavor but not good like a IPA. Just not for me....

This stuff isn’t bad. Had a “day” and was needing a little something to take the edge off. This seems to be working...

Coffee and Mt Dew, wife's in the hospital, had her 5th back surgery today. I have a brand new 1/2 gallon of Gentleman Jack at home to attend to tomorrow night though.
 
I LOVE beer. I have to give it up though, due to the carbs. No carbs in this though:

Give Papi Chulo and Big Papi a shot too is you can find them. Both are kind of a pinkish purple colored can.

They're excellent my friend. I found them at Food Lion & Bi-Lo this year. One of my all time favorite Winter Ales. I had a few Sam Adams Winter Ales the other day & they weren't even in the same ballpark.
 
That carbonation will give ya a hangover or at the very least a headache...so sez an old deceased friend of mine.

I used to really like SA, but SN was always my favorite and it wasn’t until about 10ish years ago they started being more readily available on the east coast, then when they built the brewery in Mills River...

I can’t get up there enough, I love that place.

I actually find the opposite. Makes for a smoother drink, IMO, and easier to get drunk. [emoji6]

Had two last night and was feeling very good, fewer trips to the head, and woke up just fine.

Third night posting. On a roll... Birthday Is tomorrow, great employee at work gave me this as a gift. I feel blessed and duty bound to try this tonight. Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving to all my CFF peeps!!
