Thought I'd post up an EDC type of thread to see what knife or multitool you folks were carry daily.
I know that me, personally, I change it up between a few things.
I dont carry one knife each day, but I also dont rotate out dozens of blades either.

Today, and yesterday, it was the Leatherman Skeletool CX (carbon fiber)

Its basic but has some really handy things - OHO blade, pliers, and screwdriver.
Ive done a lot of 'quick fixes' around the house with this little guy.

Spyderco Delica 4. Almost always with me. I buy and try others, but always come back to this one.

Today I'm carrying a Kershaw S30V. I carry a Boker at work that has been beat up, tip broke, clip screws lost amd now is JB welded on. I had a Benchmade Griptillian, and while it was lighter than the Blur I didn't care for the plastic handles and the Blut just overall felt more sturdy. Although I really wanted an axis locking system. I have been surprisingly pleased with the Boker, a 15 dollar gun show pick up and the Blur will eventually be in the work rotation when the Boker is retired.

Cheap Leatherman, works good. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"center","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/uYZWJf0.jpg"}[/IMG2]

A little Spyderco fingernail picker + a SOG Flash II, with a MUT and a custom, bone handled titanium blade in my bag.

Just around the house today so it's a Opinel #6.

Newly aquired Benchmade adamas from the rotation today. Everything else is not rotated. Gerber multitool, Boker pen w/ carbide glass breaker, Streamlight protac 1l-1aa, Case g10 toothpick, & Benchmade 5bk hook.

I bought this CRKT Fossil a couple weeks ago and so far I like it. it has a rather large heavy blade for a folder and should be a great knife

Kershaw Blur.

I have a few of them and have yet to find anything that I like better for only $40-50. Got one for as little as $35... Keep an eye on Amazon deals.

Edit: 7yr later and I still love my Blurs! I’ve yet to break or seriously damage one. However they’re now pushing $70 if you can find them.

Benchmade Torrent as my EDC

I've pretty much abandoned the Benchmade Adamas while at work. I use the Mutt way to much and carrying both gets heavy. I still carry the Adamas while not at work. Now the mini pry at is a custom job made by a member here that I now can't go to work without. I've used it as a prybar, hammer, bottle opener, gasket scrapper. I plan on doing a full write up on it and then y'all can try to convince him to make and sell them.

This is my main EDC as well. I have to say after 5 years it still looks almost knew and has performed very well for me.

Leatherman Skeletool (very well used.)

I've been looking for one of these for a couple of years. Tell us who it is and we'll help cajole him into production.

Kershaw Volt, serrated
Cheap, effective, feels good in the hand.
If it gets dull I'll pitch it and buy another, lol.

Since 1991, Its my second one. First one had a spring problem about 8 years ago. Sent it back and they replaced it with a brand new one - no charge.

I have one as well. I got mine back in the early 90's but can't remember exactly which year. It is one of my all time favorite blades.

I've gone back "old school". Used to be a Kershaw Needswork. Then a Delica, now I've reverted to a Case Sodbuster Jr. Loving it so far after a few months. I don't randomly find my knife hooked on a branch or some such after it getting hung out of my pocket by the clip lol.

Some friends gave me this. I've carried it for a few weeks. This is my second CRKT. They seem like fine knives for the money.
