In a Fox News segment with host Martha MacCallum the leader of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York chapter, Hawk Newsome, came on to excuse the violent actions and destruction caused by BLM.

Newsome contended that violence and rioting was more useful in furthering his cause's agenda, which according to him, made those actions justifiable.

MacCallum quoted Newsome's own words when he stated he wanted to “shove legislation down people’s throats,” and questioned, “What exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?”

Well, he's not wrong. What's wrong is the fact that our leaders are giving in to the criminals.

“But the moment people start destroying property, now cops can be fired automatically,” he revealed. “What is this country rewarding? What behavior is it listening to? Obviously not marching, but when people get aggressive and they escalate their protests, cops get fired. Now, you have police officers and Republican politicians talking about police reform. I don’t condone nor do I condemn rioting, but I’m just telling what I observed.”
