I'm looking for unlined, low heeled, leather, pull on work boots without an aggressive pattern on the sole, but not smooth. My Justin boots are falling apart after two decades, because the uppers are not real leather. I'd like to get a well made boot. Whatdya recommend?

I have worn Ariat boots normally get regular ropers actually got the work boot this time. I've not had a band pair yet. I worked construction and never had a pair of boots last me up to a year till these. Far as I'm concerned be best boot made

Pretty happy with my Lucchese ropers. Wore 'em out and had them resoled for another go

I have some I bought off the matco tool truck, they was made in Australia and had a black widow spider for a emblem. No arch support but 6 years (I only wear them winter month’s) they have lasted and still going strong.

You’re looking for the next pair to last more than two decades?

Personally I would reccomend Durango as the most comfortable boot choice. They're pull ons are good for days. Even more comfortable than my basic issue desert boots that somehow just keep on ticking by some marvel of army witchcraft.
if you're just looking for a good pull on for work and you dont like durangos, I would say give georgia boot company a try. I love my Justin's but they never quite meet the comfort level of Georgia boots, Durango, or even some of the more expensive ariats. Problem with ariat is their basic work boots are crap. You have to spend 300 to really get a decent boot from justin or ariat.
I have also had a pair of Rocky pull ons that have lasted me about 5 years, but I have had to change out the insoles.
Cant speak to them personally but my dad always said the best made boot in the country is a red wing.

I had good luck with Ariat work hawg boots. That said I swapped go Reebok zip up composite toe boots and will never own any other brand of work boots. Had this set for 2 years and they are just as cushioned as the day I bought them and have endured a beating like no other. The are easy on with the side zippers and fit much better than wellington style boots.

That used to be made in the states. Some still are, most are made overseas now, but you'll still pay premium prices for their boots.

Last two pair have been Ariat’s with last pair being the workhogs and been great pull on work boots and held up well.

Love the Ariat Work Hogs On my third set in four years. Only buy a new set because the others start looking a little rough on the outside, not because they are actually worn out.

I have worn the first set I bought 4 years ago around the house and am finally wearing through the bottom sole on one side. Will probably get another 6 months out of these. They are almost $200? New if I remember correctly but are way more comfortable than any other boot I’ve worn. Durango and others included.

I am at the point in life that I don't need to worry about something lasting 20 years.

I have a pair of Justin western boots that don't have an aggressive sole but the heel is probably higher that what you want. The Ariat lace up ankle boots are very comfortable and hold up very well. They are very comfortable, too, and they come in waterproof if you want that. Tractor Supply has them.

I wear Redwing boots. They hold up to what ever I’m doing pretty well. My last pair lasted about 6 years and are still good I just wanted a new pair.

I'm all set with lace up boots... LEMS are my favorite.

I don't want to order online... prefer to try 'em on first. Where can you get work boots in the Triad?

I picked up a pair of pull on Georgia Wellingtons from Tractor Supply probably 5 years ago, they still look brand new.
Whatever you choose, I recommend coating them with Huberd's Shoe Grease.

I’ve never had a pair of Georgia boots last more than a year, same with ariat. The longest lasting boots I’ve ever had was Justin. First pair made it six years and current pair is at 1.5.

SW83912C_MUL_N1_1114.jpeg I have good luck with Irish Setter pull ons from Red Wings. Change them every year. Not cause they are worn out but I get a boot allowance every year at work. If I dont use it I loose it. So I get new boots every year. Same style just different colors.

The biggest thing to look for in boots is that Made in USA label on them! I bought all of my boots when I was in the Army. I couldn’t wear those issue boots, they just didn’t fit right. So all my boots were made in the USA. They are more expensive but, the will usually outlast boots made in China and Vietnam 4-5 times . I’ve had Rocky boots that fell apart in six months. They were China boots, and I’ve had rocky boots that were bought in 2010 that i still weartoday and they are going strong, but are US made boots. You get what you pay for is all I’m sayin.
