What did you do in the reloading room today?

Buy the auto drum and never look back.

I haven't even considered the auto drum and I have no idea why. It's no RCBS but you have had success with small charges with the auto drum?

Thanks for the feedback.

Its been very good for me.

Drew up some plans for my first reloading bench. Bought a used reloading setup and going to play a bit during the next couple of weeks...

Picked up some 9mm brass and case lube.....my xtreme bullets order (placed Nov 28th) got a shipping label today.....

Loaded and then shot 200 9mm 124gr xtreme bullets, they patterned rather than grouped from two different guns, gonna clean the guns and also try running them faster. Tried them with 3.4gr of Tightgroup looking to stay subsonic and cycle the AR, and they were and did, but willing to change it up if anyone has a recommendation that is subsonic and accurate for them. FWIW, I'm trying the xtreme while I wait for some coated bullets. I have a 147gr solution, just looking for something lighter for no great reason but to do it.

Took some of these

Then put them here[IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/royOX3v.jpg"}[/IMG2]and now a can full of spotless brass awaiting primer, powder and a 190gr green mean

What powder you gonna be running with it? I've found bigger flake powders to be better then fine.

The plan is Titegroup. 3.2 gr 147gr 9mm. I have to fire my few test loads before production. My pro disk wouldn't throw a charge as low as 3.2 gr.

Run it a lot before you start loading rounds, there is a break in period.

Check!

I made a mental plan of how I want to finish out the bullets I'm using before I switch calibers and work up a new load.

Casted up a few 32 cal 93gr round nose. Powder coated them, stuffed them into some 32 s&w long cases and shot a few.

Tumbled about 10k of 9mm yesterday. Been meaning to do it for a while and man it sure looks pretty.

Today, I'm going to teach my Uncle how to reload, and get him addicted to the cost savings and accuracy!

So your going to lie to him? Reloading does not save money it simply makes more ammo for the money spent;)

I am getting ready to pack up the Dillon SDB with all her additions I made and take her back to my buddy Since I moved away and left him the 650 Now he loads more Pistol & I need to do Rifle rounds we making the switch Guess it a new learning curve all over again

I trimmed and prepped 60 308 cases for some 168gr Sierra Matchkings last night. I plan on finishing the load today.

Finished crimping alot of .40. That sucked

Gonna crank up the casting pot today and make 200gr 45acp LSWC as long as I can stand it.

Bet you'll never make that mistake again

No sir, that was the most boring thing I think you can do in the reloading room

Ok what did you do wrong?

I bought a 650 over the summer and forgot to install the crimp die. I got alot of .40 knocked out, and sometime later walked passed a shelf and thought to myself, I wonder what that die is....

Ended up loading 20 Matchkings and 40 Nosler Partitions for hunting instead. I didn't have any Partitions loaded up so I switched up. lol

400 rounds of .40 made just need to be case gauged, but I got all day.

Played with the little 32 long again. Casted and powder coated 200 bullets. Then I setup the pro 1000 for the 32 and loaded a few with some reddot.

65lb of ingots later. I'm not gonna count them, but this should be around 2,300 boolits. That pile is almost 3" deep.
