To block this direct vent on the outside of my direct vent fire place? I need name and links if you so choose to help me.

The right way to do it is have the gas line disconnected and removed/blocked and then fill the vent in. What’s your end goal?

Just a cover. I don't want to take the fireplace out. It is in perfect working order. I'm just try to stop the hot air from funneling in the house.

Sorry, I’m not sure about temporary solutions and you’ll probably have a difficult time finding anything ready made for it due to liability and potential for carbon monoxide poisoning.

Edit: never mind. Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077XFSCKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_ZJ5ZPQ91HFSC3CQ40V5K?psc=1&vs=1

Do you mean the fresh air supply vent?

Take the vent screen off of the outside.
Place a heavy plastic bag into the hole, open end towards the outside.
Get some Great Stuff and put about 1/2 second shot in the bag. Let it fill the bag and block the vent hole.
Trim excess so you can put screen back.

The plastic bag is there to keep the foam from adhearing to the vent walls. Easy to remove.

Thats the exhaust vent. Block it off from the inside or build a cover for the outside. Make sure you disable the fireplace so it won't work (fire hazard).
It hasn't been on since we moved in. I did make sure it works but it's drafy. Cold winter/Hot Summer so to keep it available for emergencies I'd not want to completely disable it.

If it comes on with a light switch, I'd sure want to at least close the gas valve under it. Some guest in the house will hit that switch and burn your house down.

I agree with @rdinatal method of closing up the inside vent to stop the draft.
If you do anything to it, put a note on the switched off gas valve so the next guy that lives there doesn't burn the place down either. It'll be easy to set and forget this, then move away in 20 years.
