What have you purchased lately in preparing for SHTF/WROL?

You really think the 'grid' will be up? It might be severely impacted in remote areas. Better have some way of charging them.

I have a way unless Skynet darkens the sun. Sure beats throwing away batteries when there's no more trash pickup.

I’ve got an almost complete “go box” that has all the tools I need to reload ammo on the run. Need to get an extra hand primer. Once I do, sans components (that will be thrown in a different box at that time), I can reload under a shade tree.

well, here is my "cheap" way to recharge the rechargeable AA's:
i use those $1 solar walkway lights. remove the rechargeables
inside and replace with the discharged ones.

already have two: one is 22 years old and the other is 38.
they still run great, but the new one has wheels. Wheee!

Yep. Unless is it a weather related emergency I plan for a slow, steady decline and my demise is either a heart attack running up a hill or a quick death on a drone strike. Either way I'm FUBAR.
