What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Scored 340 rounds of Garand ammo. Mostly ball but quite a few black tip.

LC 52, 53, 57
FA 53
TW 53

Bought them for pulls since they might be corrosive. After researching they are all post changeover (non-corrosive).

Update:

There were three boxes (1 open, 1 sealed, 1 taped) of M1 ball on stripper clips in real good condition. After some research they are FA37, corrosive. Going to sell these as a bolt gun is very easy to clean after corrosive than a Garand.

I got an EGW rail and Leupold rifleman rings for my newly acquired M700. Mounted a Trophy XLT 3-9x40 that was a warranty exchange scope (where Vista sent me a cheaper Duplex scope than the BDC one I had). Will be a great deer rifle for my boys. Thanks again @jeffncs

I also bought a cheaper VISM illuminated 30mm 1.5-6x42. Has a dot duplex reticle and is very clear. Of course my one piece mount is too wide to clear the bells so once again I am shopping for a mount. Gonna put this one on my 16" middy AR to replace a cheap TRS25 RDS

* They're

My wife is an English teacher. She'd nag you until you corrected it.

I married into a whole family of English majors. Life sucked for a while, until I learned the joy of pushing their buttons.

Like the day my wife's sister called while I was hanging a picture:

SISTER: "What are you up to?"

ME: "Nothing much, just hanging a picture over the mantle." (Pronounced "picture" like "pitcher".)

SISTER: "PIC-TURE! You HANG a PIC-TURE, you POUR from a PIT-CHER!" (Spoken with much enunciation.)

ME: (Pregnant pause) "But...It's a picture of a pitcher..."

SISTER: "Grrrr..."

Just picked up a new Aero Precision ultralight scope mount. Needed something to mount the 18x optics on my service rifle for 600 yard load testing. that 4x scope just wasn't doing the greatest job

A Czech model-50 32 acp. Should be delivered to the house Tuesday. Wish the model 70 was C&R also. Just may have to bite the bullet and go through a 01 FFL. Would like to have the newer version also.

For holsters, look at those made for the Walther PP.

Ordered a Vortex scope level, and two sets of Butler Creek scope covers.

I know what you mean, 4x is possible, but my old eyes need more help than that! I've got a budget Vortex Crossfire II that is 18x in a 20moa mount, it works nicely for me at 600 yards.

Friend and I went in to Gander outdoors and saw this red dot for $30. I just couldn't pass it up and I'm so glad I didn't!

Is that new or remanufactured?

Trumpcard holster...great for deep carry or for the beach..or yard work..or out for a walk in the park. Lets you carry confidently with walking type shorts or even swim trunks at the beach. Two days there of playing in the sand and I had zero issues with it.

I havent stretched it out yet to see how it works as a shoulder holster...but we will see.

Planning on shooting some clays this weekend, picked up more shells today

One of these on the way, for when I visit a communist state :
