What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

I'm attempting to apply some brakes on my gun purchases. Or, at least limit it to the accessories needed to finish some builds.

It's painful.

Yeah I feel your pain. Honestly I am set but there are so many deals out there right now. It is a buyers market but my funds went to transportation so the guns have to be put on hiatus.

Did you see the 1995 Corvette in BST? ;)

Sig, you of all people know Gun Money and vehicle money Do Not come from the same buried can.

Oh I see, had to dig up All the cans...…………..

Not all the cans but a few. ;) There are many scattered in many places for futures use. The wife and I try to balance enjoyment today and enjoyment later. Never blow the entire wad.

This gets MUCH easier when you pass into your 70s. Right NOW becomes much more important.
I don't even buy Green Bananas.

I completely understand that but for us we are still doing the dance. We do not want to die leaving a ton of money to heirs. We earned it and we will spend it and throw a few shekels into the air as the lower us into the ground but no one will be getting a windfall. In the mean time we will be having fun going 0-60 in about 3.9 seconds with 4 passengers in a 4 door sedan. :)

98.765% of my enjoyment of all things in life is Sharing. So there.
Same for me. But most of the time, my wife yells at me to close the door and turn on the fan.

Ordered two of these High Speed Gear X2R mag pouches to replace my mag pouches on my body armor. These pouches are expandable and can take two M16, AUG, AK47, vz58, M110 or G3. I say these because I've already stuck those mags in the pouches without adjustment. Lifetime warranty and made in Swansboro, NC!

Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18 scope and mount for the AR10 I have not shot yet.

Also, bought this tool chest from Home Depot. It’s great to have my tools out of cardboard boxes from all the moving. Also really like the adjustable height of the top.

How does that thing seem for quality? I want something like that for the trunk and I have a "spare" G17 laying around. Seems cheaper than buying a sub2000
I have only have experience with the ones that @BatteryOaksBilly and I have and the one that sold me on getting one. Last year @Button Pusher let me shoot his and I really liked it. They are very well made and easy to use. With some sights, it makes the handgun capable of making shots that are normally out of range. The Glock is very easy to put in and take out.
There are at least 2 versions of the folding brace models. One is specific to the frame size and the later ones will accept either G17 or G19 size guns. One also has a place to carry a spare magazine.
Is it a novelty? Maybe, but it is a lot of fun to shoot and could easily become a defensive tool. With the Glock 17 there is zero recoil so it would be good for shooters of all ages and genders.
@Stick Man recently got one and he says that he likes it. Maybe he will give some feedback, too. If you're ever over toward the coast you're very welcome to try one out. If you come to the October Meet & Greet you can try them out then, too.
