What is this rifle at Walmart?

It’s a savage but I didn’t look long enough to see a model on it.
It’s the one with the multicolor stock in the middle.

Don’t know. The one with the same stock but green is a .22lr. And the one in red is .17 HMR. I haven’t seen this one yet.

I saw the red and green ones on the lower shelf.
They were about $400 or so I think. This one was much more expensive.
The stock on this one has the two metal insert (they look like metal) and nothing on savages site matches those.

That’s one thing I hate about they way Savage does their website. They will produce special runs on distributor or store exclusives and not put them on their website.

Savage .22LR in boyds stock. Walmart. Any experience?

Stopped at local walmart. I always check for 22 ammo. They have a bolt action .22 savage with a threaded bull barrel, 3-9 Weaver scope and a Boyds stock. $423 I am thinking about getting it for my nephews birthday. Anybody have one of these or handled one? Are they junk? Threaded bull barrel...

I bought a green stock savage 22 at Walmart about 2 years ago. If youn go to boyds stocks you can see the brownish one in the op post. I just don't remember paying 598 .
