A work friend of my wife has this. I know it's a kit but what is it suppose to be?
That would bemy guess 32 ford kit.
A few things look right a few things look customized. The paint looks downright queer. Perfect for the wife I guess. Is it fiberglass or sheet metal.
The ladies husband died and now she is trying to sell it. Someone appraised it for 12.5 but right now she is willing to sell it for 10. I told my my there are so many variables that it's hard for me to get interested. If I could buy it, play with and then get my money back in a year I would. I just don't really know how to figure what the dang thing is worth.
STEER CLEAR OF OLD CARS.
We got stuff in like this at the body shop on occasion and have found many things that need to be fixed. This will be a HUGE money pit.
I know someone likely has a lot of money in the car, but it probably isn't worth much north of $7500. I wouldn't pay that for it. Be wary.
Lol, that's the number I'm at BEFORE I see the car
You absolutely don't want to offend them, but a lot of this type of stuff will likely have to be gone through with a fine tooth comb to identify all the items that need to be reworked or replaced.
Yeap, I've been on the other side a couple of times when I was younger. Your always lucky to get half of what you invest in a custom or restored. That's why I tell friends NEVER to restore a car. Buy it restored, hell of a lot cheaper.
Somewhere in the house is a build list for this project, and maybe invoices.
Sh does have some paperwork. Car was built in Florida, can't remember the name. 302 crate installed by someone locally. He had a bunch of nice hi end stuff. All the kids claimed one car each and they sold the rest. This is the only car left.
Why,, I've have buddie named Gtownwrench that wants to help fix any problems
I'd LOVE to have a '32 convertible like that, in a different color!
If you don't do anything with it, please PM me info.
Is it a custom frame or some sort of donor car?
Check front and rear suspension... see if it is something common to old 90s kit cars (like Mustang II or Chevy S10... VW etc). Doesn't look "high-end" enough to have Corvette components but plenty of kit cars back then used C4 stuff.
Could be a lot of fun for the right price assuming it's somewhat decent components.
I remember she read off something about a Mustang 2,, I do know it has AC
Will do, me I like the Hot Pink color
Find out the manufacturer too; once upon a time there were a million kit companies and most of them were junk.
Maybe look thru here for some info
It would make a cool hot rod if you took the fenders and the rag top off. May even appeal to more buyers. Of course there would be more to it than that but, it would definitely have a different look.
just take your money and set it on fire. Custom cars are a good way to lose your arse.
I have one in the shop right now that looks almost just like it but it is shit brown with a hard top. Looks like a Essex Super 6. Dam that thing is ugly.
Are you sayingt this is queer? I got one like it.
For everyone talking about mustang ll or etc....clearly a leaf spring poking out the front so you can scratch that.
You’ll need more details to get anything close to a ballpark on value. To many variables on the build.
