What kind of peppers are these?

Couldn't find the garden thread in the first few pages so anyone know what kind of peppers these are? I thought I was growing some habanero/Thai hybrid seeds but these are growing instead. I tried one about 3 inches long to see if I could tell by taste but it was still bland and a little bitter. Paint is about 4 foot tall with big leaves. Thanks in advance.

Thanks and I hope so. I got some random giant chilis by surprise from what was supposed to be jalapenos last year and they had no flavor so I'll be happy with poblanos.

That was my first thought. They could also be banana peppers. If they are, they'll ripen yellow. If they're poblano they'll turn dark green

Perhaps Anaheims (ripen red) or Cubanelles (ripen yellow/pale green).

I agree with Ms. Lily, Poblanos or anaheimes if they turn darker green and the poblanos will go dark like a dark green pepper almost hunter green. Both are not hot. If it stays a lighter shade of green, cubanelle. All 3 are good for stuffing.

Thanks for all the info. I was hoping for spicy hybrids. I might dry them and mix them with the cayennes or cook them with some potatoes and onions.

Looks like an Anaheim to me. Use freely in some Mexican dishes. Or in scrambled eggs. Not very hot.

That's true. At least my cayennes will have a little spice.
