What MOA height mount for LPVO on an AR

Putting LPVOs on ARs - 24mm objective. ARs all have tubular rails with backup front and rear irons. What height mounts do you recommend? I want to standardize across them, preferably quick disconnect mounts. Thanks in advance!

I like a standard height which is about 1.4” above bore.

1.93” and taller is pretty popular these days but I decided I don’t really like it.

You should definitely try both.

I’m a big fan of the 1.93”. That lets me shoot with more of a heads up posture when moving.

It’s less enjoyable from the bench. I prefer a lower mount for a nice tight cheek weld, but that’s usually higher magnification.

Like @Frack N Cylons said, you really need to try a range.

1.5"-ish. I grew up with a bad cheek weld being a cardinal sin when shooting smallbore and its an impossible habit to break. Also short enough for you to at least have a chin weld if mounting a dot on top.
