What mount for AR for 2-7x35 scope?

Looking to mount a Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35 scope on an AR flattop I have. Can anyone recommend a scope mount that won't sit to high for this size scope? Backup sights will be coming off. Thanks!

I’ll second the light Aero mount but I’d say go for the extended version ...

to shift the scope a little farther forward ... ARs tend to work better in the configuration especially if you shoot nose to charging handle.

I have the Nikon M223 on one and the P223 2 piece set on another. Both work well.

I also have both Nikon mounts and both are gtg and affordable. Most Walmart’s have the P series mounts for around $50.

Most mounts are made to center optics on ARs at 1.5” over bore. Shouldn’t be a problem

Thanks everyone for the responses. Ordered a Aero lightweight mount but picked up a Primary Arms basic mount from Patriot Shooting sports here in town in the meantime. For $25 bucks the PA works great.

Need to mount it a little further forward but it worked great for the 200 rounds I put through it.

The basic Primary Arms mount is GTG. I’ve been using one on a 7.62x39 build with great results. They’re very affordable too.

Fwiw unless you are wanting to mount it further forward for eye relief, a set of medium Weaver rings will work fine for that application
