I’ve been trying to figure out my next firearm purchase. What have you seen, shot, read about, or own that has a cool factor. I have a desire for something new and some direction.

The ones I've been looking at lately are:
  • 1911 - because it's a 1911 and served the armed forces through several wars,
  • Kel-Tec Sub-2000 in 9mm - because it looks like a lot of cheap fun, and I like the folding feature,
  • Taurus Spectrum - because I like the smooth look and would like to have something for pocket carry besides my Kel-Tec P3AT.

What do you already have?
What type of firearms flip your booger hooker?
I have a pretty extensive collection. I have a wide range of 1911s from micro size through 6”. I have a sti dvc limited, cz shadow 2, several revolvers, lots of entry level pocket pistols, shield, xde, xds, xdm, emp, multiple Ars, multiple hunting rifle and shotgun, savage precision, saint pistol 300blk.

Well, if you want the ultimate "cool" I'm about to put my original 1942 vintage Savage Thompson 1928A1 up for sale. Might be more than you're budgeting though.

Here is a slow motion vid of a 50 round mag dump:

Based upon the pistol model's that you listed, a Walther PPQ Q5 would be worth looking at. They are a sweet shooting gun and the trigger is outstanding.

Get one of the new Walther Q5 match steel frame guns. I’ve been reading some good reviews on it, super soft shooting and very accurate. Added bonus, I’ll help break it in.:D:D

Sounds like you should be giving other people advice on what to buy.

What's the budget on this? If you're just looking for something different look at the Bond Arms Bullpup. Neat little pistol with a unique design. I think there might even be one for sale around here.

again - sp5k + brace + tax stamp + LOTS OF AMMO!

That is going to cost you bit over $3K I have not seen a NIB Sp5k in stock for under $3000 for a while

I don't see any BHPs in this list.
