Whatcha' listening to?

Memory conveys that you were something to be
When you weren't held captive in an aged body
You had a family that needed you and job security
You had everything a man could ever need
But where did your children go? Where is your family?
Did they turn into the adults that you always hoped they'd be?
Did you finally retire from that job that tortured you?
I thought all your dreams had come true
So why are you depressed when your life is at it's best
Is it really cause it's not what it seems?
Or are you unable to see that you should be happy
'Cause your still living in yesterday's dreams

holy crap.
I figured only about 50 people in the USA would remember CB
Homecoming (song) was my favorite off that.
Still got my copy of the cd downstairs

Someone was posting songs to mp3.com back when the album came out. Might have been the band. Until 2001 when I picked up the CD stateside, all I had was Homecoming, Going Blind, and Dear Annie as tinny mp3's that were like 128 kbps.

A lot of other bands were gaining attention on there at the time. I remember Linkin Park being on there as "Hybrid Theory", Further Seems Forever in their Chris as singer era. New Found Glory before they got signed, Noise Ratchet, and pretty sure the first place I heard the Ataris.
Moon is Down era, hell yes.
First saw NFG on tour with Less Than Jake in 99 or 00 down in Charlotte
Speaking back to Chris Carabba - saw Dashboard open up for H2O, Face to Face, and SNAPCASE...talk about a weird opener lol I stil have the flyer for that show

NEver saw Craig's Brother, but love that cd

I made a best of compilation and this is one of the songs. A friend (RIP Bobbie) tried to turn me on to Utopia 20 yrs ago and it just now took in 2019. Musical Genius: Todd Rundgren

Thats not what I expected them to look like, I always pictured them to be long haired 70’s musicians.
I’m on a Ruch kick, again. Getty’s voice is painful, the drum & bass lines along with the composition make up for it. This song applies to the race tension and entitlement crowd more than ever now.

Armin Van Buuren just released a new album, I'm a trance music freak. It's a great album. Listening to it now waiting for the wife to get out of work. Been trying to reduce stress and this music usually helps me shut the rest of the world out.

Usually I'm a live acoustic music person, rather than a studio rock music person. But occasionally my misspent youth comes to the surface...and I get on an 70's metal kick. Last three or four days, it's been a serious Anthrax kick. Dunno why. I'd almost forgotten how good Among the Living is.
