What's for dinner?

You know this at 8:08AM?! Take a walk on the wild side; switch to pasta at 3:49PM! Fly! Be Free!

Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed. Just not sure if it's a good or bad... :p

My wife likes to plan our meals WAY ahead of time. The first thing she says to me when we get up is "We're having blah, blah, blah, for dinner tonight. I'm sure her brain is planning tomorrow night's meal as she is making breakfast right now. :D:D:D I've learned to just go with it. ;)

Yeah, how do plan that far ahead? Yesterday we were going to fry fish, then changed to meatloaf, and ended up with Mexican chicken and black beans.

On a rare occasion she says during the day "how about we have Blah, Blah instead, and then we have her first suggestion tomorrow since she's already starting defrosting it already. But we usually have the same combination of foods during the week, every week, since she already done the shopping for the week ahead of time.

This actually sounds very practical. Practical is a tad beyond my reach a lot of the time...

Shepherd's Pie, home style which means baked beans and carrots in with the beef and multiple layers of cheese with the potato.

You Brits and your weird ass food... What's with the beans in everything? Save that mess for breakfast with your black and white pudding like the Micks...

BTW, shepherd's pie is made with lamb. If it's beef, it's cottage pie. You should know better;)

I should. But I don't.

Beans are good. Well, British beans are. American beans are ok though.

Homemade veggible soup with venison burger in it meat because 'murica.

NC Livin' Brit done just invited us all to a British Bean Challenge Dinner!!

When & Where? Maybe start a thread so we can sign up to attend. :p

Don't mind me. Just always on the lookout for a free feed.

It's the sauce. American beans are typically in a much sweeter sauce Brit baked beans are in a tangy tomato sauce. Problem is damn things are $2-4 a can for the good Heinz kind.

I oughta chef fer a living!

It probably wouldn’t be as much fun, though...

We thought about doing something like a food truck or even a small hole in the wall place. Think it might be more of a pain than it would be worth.

Italy meets Greece tonight ala keto... Sliced tenderloin over a bed of mushroom and pork belly pesto risotto(made with miracle rice, no carbs), topped with tzatziki sauce and mild peppers, beside a Greek "Caesar" salad of mixed greens with a feta dill dressing, olives and pork rind croutons...

Absolutely delicious and very keto/low carb...
