What's for dinner?

Teriyaki Salmon, avocado, cucumber, pickled red onion, sugar snaps, carrots, scallions served over brown basmati rice. It is basically a deconstructed Sushi roll. Super easy to make. about 15 minutes of prep time and 10 minutes of active cooking.

Israeli couscous with chicken, veggies and masala sauce. Obviously burn your bunghole hot sauce too. Ruins your today AND your tomorrow! [emoji12]

Another Short TDY to Germany with dinner tonight at the Paulaner in downtown Wiesbaden . Don’t get excited, the Paulaner is sorta like the Applebee’s of Germany, but their beer is really great (2 liter mugs!) and the food is always good
Soft pretzel with herbed cream cheese, dinner salad (yes that is sauerkraut on top), and then real jägerschnitzel with light mushroom gravy and fried potatoes.

Tonight is mediterranean roast rack of lamb, spanakopita pie, stuffed mushrooms, baby greens salad with lemon vinaigrette.

jägerschnitzel

Thanks for reminding me to add that to the menu in the next few weeks. I will need to make another batch of stout mustard first, though.

I’ll be dropping this pack of Whitetail back straps in the sous vide for a few minutes when I get home for supper.

Simple breakfast for dinner theme:

Slowly scrambled eggs + sausage (Bass Farm) + bagel + shaved Cabot cheddar.

For me burfday, my bride fixed the same meal we had the night I proposed to her.
Filet Oskar, with lobster and scratch Béarnaise sauce and asparagus. She then added lumpy mashed red taters, brussel sprouts, along with a couple great margaritas. I think it's the best meal we've had in our 39 years together. The sauce is going to become a norm around here.

She done good. You might want to propose again to make sure it is locked in.

And good looking table too!

Dang, y'all do it up right in here. Makes the spaghetti I'm fixing for tonight look borderline trailer-park'ish. LOL

Border line trailer parks are where it's at!

I didn't think to take a picture, but tonight I chucked a chuck roast in the instant pot.

Seasoned and seared it on all sides. Deglazed the pot with a little beef broth and a sliced up onion. Tossed the roast back in with 5 cut up yellow potatoes and about 2/3 of a bag of baby carrots. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and about a cup of beef broth and one hour later, the wife used profanity to describe it.

It turn out pretty good. The chuck was really fatty.

Tonight, Baked Pecan coated Tilapia, Brown rice, Bush's beans, and Asparagus.fish & beans 001.JPG
