What's for dinner?

Tonight is going to be homemade pappardelle with prosciutto and mushrooms.

Bipimbap tonight.

I made a trip to H-Mart on Tuesday so, there will be a few Asian meals on the menu over the next several days.
 
Dry brined the meat yesterday and started smoking it at 4 AM this morning. I did not use a Texas crutch it this time. I am trying to leave it naked and get a deeper smoke on it. I did pump some beef broth into it this morning right before I put the rub on it. I am serving it with collards, cole slaw & baked beans. Pre dinner football appetizers are deviled eggs, nachos with chili and homemade guacamole.

20190203_173423.jpg Porterhouse steak (reverse seared over charcoal with oak twigs for a bit of smoke flavor), baked potatoes, and green beans, plus a cold beer. Nothing fancy. I just had to grill something because it is such a nice day.

Good grief! I am too busy cooking, cleaning and eating to take time to find the phone to take photos.

I am "old school". I don't keep my phone glued to my head. Heck, much of the time I have to dial it from another phone to find it.

Tonight, Scallops coated in flour, cooked in olive oil and garlic. Then mixed with whole wheat pasta and topped with Romano Cheese.scallops 007.JPG
 
Ribs came off the smoker a bit ago and are resting. Sriracha potato salad and white wine/butter braised nappa cabbage.
