Can a rd be chambered?

Yes. Mags on the belt can only have 10 rounds in them, the mag in the gun will also have 10 in it with 1 in the chamber for 11 total to start

Today's Annual "on the sixes" IDPA match it was the Ruger Redhawk in 45ACP/Colt using 45aCP with the moon clips. Had almost forgotten how much I enjoy shooting revolver. On the sixes meant That every mag had six and only six rounds in it .match was set up accordingly. Ironically, only two of the@30 of us that shot the match shot a revolVer.

Makes me want to bring out my Ruger Alaskan (.45 Colt/.454 Casull) loaded with .45 Colt out to the range. Maybe after the Carolina Classic this September...
