When is the Election?

Back when the site was launched there was talk about holding yearly elections where a member would be elected to the site leadership and be able to vote along with the ownership on decisions, etc.

Did I miss it, or has this not happened yet?

No, it was talked that they would be like one of the 7 or 8 or whatever owners. Elected by the membership. I'll see if I can find a thread on it.
 
Ah, ok,I dont recall it, but that was back in December/first of January, so its been a bit and maybe I missed it with all of the new content at the same time.
 
That would be cool... Looking forward to seeing that. It rings a bell.
 
I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that someone who would be helping make decisions for so many subscribed members who have put skin in the game to do the same.

Just like the original colonial elections - make sure the person was truly invested in the betterment of the community.
 
Since we were dealing with other internal issues we felt it prudent to wait until we had a stable ownership platform before bringing anyone else into it.
Since that has now resolved itself we will begin the process shortly.

Why not just hold open elections/decisions (subscribed only) on things that need a consensus?? I know a couple of good Russian guys that can help....

I may have a dossier or two laying around that I’d be willing to “lend out” before any elections! :cool:







And by lend, I mean for a massive stack of cash...or a ton of ammo.
