Flew into Denver this afternoon…then drove 3 hours to the middle of nowhere Nebraska, along the Nebraska / Wyoming border. I’m talking 2 lane backroads for 90 minutes after I left the highway.

Dang….there isn’t a tree to be found. I did see antelope and a couple Mule Deer, including one very bog buck, during the drive. Wish I could have extended a couple days on the end of the business, would love to do some exploring.
 
Take a few pictures for us on the way back to the airport. And prayers for safe travels my friend.

Eastern WY looks like the moon with prairie grass & snow fences. Definitely. A different kinda desolate & wide- open.

We may have unknowingly crossed paths. I was in the Denver airport this afternoon on a layover on the way back from San Antonio.

I know EXACTLY where you are - my in-laws are from Nowhere (Chadron), NE. My wife finally left there yesterday to come home (she's driving).

ChinaVirus is making the rounds out there right now, because she got quarantined an extra 10 days with... even AFTER getting "the jab." Watch yourself!

You lucky dog - I wish I was out there. You should skip work one day and go visit the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site located about 25 minutes east of Wall, SD off of I-90.

Went there last mission, was really cool. The guide worked at the silo's, then retired with it to become the guide.

One of the W01's is former AF, and is trying to get us a tour of the active silo's at Minot.
