So i've recently started using an RCBS 4x4 and really like it. I have all the shell plates I use, except a number 18 for 44 mag. I've seen a few places online that have listings for them, but dont actually have them in stock. Is this something that any outside company makes? I can't justify spending nearly 60 bucks for one off ebay. Any help would be appreciated in tracking one of these down, or even where else to start to look.

At the risk of sounding like a smart ass, have you tried RCBS?? There is some interchangeability between the Pro 2000 and the 4x4 but I'm not sure how far it goes, again, RCBS....

Yeah, that may be my only hope. I've seen where a couple sold for like 15 bucks right before I started looking for them (imagine that).

And, it's a risk you're willing to take. :D

This is probably a stretch, but perhaps the shellplate for a Dillon 550 might work? The pics look similar but I don’t have he dimensions of the parts to check

I'd take a shot at calling RCBS but as soon as they say no, go spend the $60 on Ebay. Normal retail on those is $40, so I would not invent a headache to save $20. They seem to be a rare-ish item so the premium is to be expected.

ETA: this place claims to have one in stock @ $38.55 - they have the wrong picture but the right RCBS part number 87618

and here for $30AUD:
