Wanting a different (20 g.) shotgun for skeet. An XS Skeet possibly if one can be found. Where can I find a dealer with a good selection?

Southern Side by Side show is coming up at Deep River in Sanford. I've not been, but I shoot matches there monthly and hear it is huge.

What does that have to do with his request??

OP, check Ed's gunshop in the southern part of the state and there's a couple of more that I can't recall right now.

Bill, Did you piss in your own cornflakes. Again?

Deep River is a clays venue that will have a huge show and exhibition in several weeks where one can see and handle lots and lots of shotguns that's not far from the OP.

His request was centered on a specific gun, 20 gauge XS Skeet. How does a side by side competition help that??

And their my cornflakes, I'll do with them as I see fit....

If I was to ever win the lottery or come "into" money, one of the first 5 stops will be Mid South.
You'd better make it the 5th stop. If you go there first you'll be too broke to go to the other 4.

Two on gunbroker right now. Both are expensive. One is 20 gauge tubed for 28/410. The other is 20 gauge.

It's not just a competition. There will be lots of shotguns on display and for sale/sell/cell/sail by multiple vendors over the whole property that weekend as I'm told. I'm checking with a friend who works there to see if there will be any representation by Browning through dealers who will be exhibitors.

Their Pro-Shop might be interesting, although I'm no pro.

I found their online inventory at Deep River and didn't see Browning among them, sorry. I'll let you know what Ed Strickland says about their exhibitors.

I inquired as to whether the exhibition would be exclusively side by sides, and also what you are looking for.

The reply is:

"Not at all, there will be all kinds of shotguns there for sale, most however will be older and pre-owned.
But you never know. Lots of guns.
Thanks! Ed"

If you cannot find an XS of your liking or price point, take a look at Browning's new Citori CXS. It is offered in both 12 and 20ga and available in several different barrel lengths: 28" 30" and 32". I have the '15 Crossover Target (predecessor to the CXS) and it is an absolute clay crusher on any clay course whether it is skeet, sporting clays or trap!!!!

This is true, and no one can predict what shows up.
I've seen anything from an 1887 Winchester lever shotgun to a Holland & Holland or Purdy Matched set O/U @ over 300k

shop advice above is valid.. Call Ed's or Go to Wagram,
