Which would feed you more if the lights went out?

For me…. I would not have the slightest idea how to procure food with a gun, not would I know how to process it.

Since all “disaster” is local-only, I would ride it out by cooperating with society, as that has been a proven winning strategy for the entire history of human beings. Banding together is the primary thing that gets things done for humans.

”Individualism” is weakness.

not sure if kidding

not sure how to factor in or bring up today's "you are personally responsible for things that happened hundreds of years ago to my ancestors" mentality

given the two choices:
centerfire at first, and then
the pellet rifle after all the
big game is gone.
The great depression did a number deer and wild turkey. It was a lot of years I never saw either animal. Now deer are becoming a pest with the numbers being hit on roadways.

Larger game is fine if you can keep the meat from spoiling. Salt cure if you have the place and salt. Small game makes one or two meals. This is why moms would.send little Johnny to the woods to hunt squirrels or a rabbit.

Pellets... (20% is better.)
