Plan is to submit for sbr first then add a suppressor or two. Main reason I want to do a trust is to allow my son, when he gets of age, to use suppressor on his own for hunting. I'm leaning towards trying National gun trust unless you guys can recommend something different.

I just ordered my second trust, a $50 trust @BigWaylon suggested. The Trust Shop. I got it notorized today. I’ll be scanning it to text to print future copies.
The 1st one is a pre 41P (or whatever it is) and has my entire family on it.

I have a lawyer written one with ~3 dozen stamps. Since 41F went into effect, I’m using the one mentioned above ($49) and have another 10 or so added to it. Very simple process to set up and change as needed.

As mentioned above... Trust Shop is cheap, works and quick delivery.

I went the trust shop route for the same reason you mention. Probably on @BigWaylon recommendation. I asked Scott at tarheel state and I don’t think he is providing trusts anymore.

When I did trusts I used a copy of Quicken Willmaker 2007. Works like a champ and ...Free. PM me if you want a copy

That's what I did. Access to Nolo.com. Now I've got the SiShop one shot so every form r item gets its own trust. Form 1s go into my Nolo trust.

Went with the trust shop for $49. Quick and easy. Now waiting for fingerprint print cards to arrive!

When NCsilencer.com was in business I used their canned/prepped trust -- which I had an attorney go over to make sure it was valid in NC.

A word of caution about using canned/prepped trusts of any sort:
-----
As I understand it (I am NOT an attorney), trust laws vary from state to state ... meaning what's valid in one state isn't necessarily valid in another when it comes to trusts. The ATF isn't going over the legal instrument from that angle, but if you don't or make sure an attorney does, it could bite you in rear-end should there be a validity/legality issue with the instrument when it comes time to use the instrument as a mechanism to transfer assets to a beneficiary (per its intent). In a worst case scenario, all assets belonging to the trust could be lost if there's a validity problem with the trust, itself ... due to it not being a valid legal instrument in the state where it's intended to be used.

I'd hate for NFA items to be snapped up by the ATF on a technicality after someone passed away ... rather than the benficiary receiving them and the trust then being reworked ... thanks to the trust to which the items belonged not being valid. That would be terrible!

So, tonight my BIL texted me asking about getting a very specific SBS and NOT the non-NFA version. He asked if the trust I had set up before that I put the whole family on would be a good way to do it. I'm in NC now, he's still in MI, and the trust was set up before 41F. I told him probably not, because it would require me to submit, everybody to get printed and sheriffed, and i'd have to put him back on the trust, and i've got like 5 other things waiting for stamps to deal with first... AFTER i move some things out of michigan and restructure my trust again.

I mentioned that he should look into a smaller trust to get started with, and then he'll have the flexibility to add people later, once he gets more comfortable with working the trust himself. I'm thinking of starting a few smaller trusts, honestly.

So is THE TRUST SHOP still one of the better options? They don't have a lot of cash, so he's not going to be pulling a @BigWaylon any time soon to be buying a dozen stamps. Probably the shotgun soon, maybe a pistol can in a while.
Also, if you see a short barrel "tactical" keltec ksg anywhere, let me know. I know a guy who's looking for one...

Works well for me. Do it once. Then do a copy/paste and change the name to use it over and over like the Single Shot trust.
