Just being a nosy/curious woman. Lol.
I'm just interested in how many have memberships in more than one range...and why, if you don't find that too nosy.

I do. One, a well established club, for more than twenty years. The other, an indoor range, I was given a complimentary, one year membership which I will not renew.

Is that an indoor range with AC in the lanes??? LoL. I just want to have a local range to belong to, sigh.....
Thanks for the response.

A few years ago I had a membership at 3 ranges/clubs, one a local indoor range and two private clubs.

I had a membership at shooters choice since it is close to my house, but wanted more than just an indoor lane. Wanted to join Buccaneer but the wait can be a fairly long time so joined Ant Hill in the meantime. Finally got into Buccaneer but kept my membership at Ant Hill for a while just cause I like the folks there.

Ended up letting my membership at shooters choice expire since I wasn’t going there to actually shoot anymore, and dropped my membership to Ant Hill as well since they developed a waiting list and I hated the thought of someone not getting in when I had a membership I really wasn’t using.

Frontline Defense in Warrenton, outdoor and Triangle Shooting Academy in Raleigh indoor with HVAC.:)
Frontline Defense, it's worth the trip.

Both Woody's and DPRC for me. I waited years to join DPRC so I'll remain a member for a long time.
I really hope I don't have to wait years to get into my local range...it's so close, and yet so far....lol...

DPRC and DCWC for a long time, but when DCWC neutered the pistol range and cancelled the Tuesday night action pistol matches I dropped it.

How did they neuter the pistol range?

It was closed for renovations for a LONG time. Over a year if I recall correctly. I waited that out. When done, no sky visible on the left half (50 yard). Lots of steel in the air. That’s fine, and less liability inside RTP. But they shut down the right side (100 yard) and shut down our weekly action pistol we did every Tuesday. Since I am not a shotgunner, no longer worth it.

It's a damn Shane too because I work down the street from them. I've never owned a shotgun and probably won't for a long time, so I have zero interest in joining.

SWGC for 18 years now. Had to join FLD for the 1000yds. Just FYI...Sir Walter Gun Club is member owned and operated non profit. FLD is a business owned and operated by Paul Smith. SWGC is about a year wait time now with lots of hoops to jump thru before full membership. Paul currently has open membership with the only hoop to jump thru is qualification on the 1000yd if you so choose.

I belong to 2 1st the OBXGC 1 hour 2 min drive $50.00 a year I shoot there the most good rifle and pistol range (outdoor) skeet and trap limited to wed and Sun mornings and they are slow shooting the 2nd Airfield shooting club in Ivor Va. is $100.00 a year its 1 hour and 40 min away there I open the range shoot what I want and the close the range but I am a member for the skeet and trap set up I open the skeet range put in my member RFID card and shoot skeet any time plus the targets are billed to me every quarter and the best thing is that Skeet and trap are $2.50 a round

I belong to Izaak Walton (outdoor) where I live. I considered an indoor range, also, but I have my own range in the backyard.

Very nice! I've discussed making my own range on my property, but there was lots of talk about how far bullets can travel, and berms, and skid steering, and lots of other stuff I know nothing about....so I've shelved the idea---for now. It would be nice just to go out of the house and shoot! With any luck, soon I might be able to drive a couple of miles and shoot!!!
Nice woods at your place!
And last but not least....sexy gun!! Lol.
