Who carries concealed with an OWB holster?

Try pocket carry with that little gun. Draw times are faster

I carry a G19 OWB concealed. I discovered that the belt is every bit as important as the holster. You need a sturdy gun belt and you need to get your holster snug enough to your body. For myself that means I have to use a track belt for optimum fit.

I will concur that the belt is a critical component. For the money, I think is one of the better options out there, and it easily accommodates those of us with variable waistlines. ;)

Do you happen to have a pancake holster for Sig 365? I’ve been thinking about getting one and I would definitely want to support forum members!

Oh yeah. The leather is all made to order.

yes, with the cooler weather brings more options of concealment. I have the same holster for my CZ P01. Stealthgear flex.

This for sure. Also, if you add some counterbalance to the other side of the belt it doesn't drag your strong side down quite so much. A spare mag on the weak side helps a lot for me.

In the winter I have with a jacket or something on. If the clothes allow it then I'll do it. My go-to will always be IWB though.

i forgot to mention; in today's current climate (not environmental) i don't carry anything with a mag capacity of under 15 rounds, and I make sure my wife doesn't either
my reason behind this is because a lot of people being attacked and such is by groups of people (mob mentality) so pretty much i only carry full size guns with 17-22rd mags

I have carried concealed owb the entire winter in a Magnificent Chief Jason holster.
Its my opinion that he undercharges for his holsters.
Don’t tell him!!!!! ;)

OWB is all that I do, all day every day. Standard carry is a 3.3 or 4.0 XDS .45 in the paddle holster that they came with. Just works, and is comfortable. 3rd option in an SR40c in a similar fobus paddle holster. I cannot do IWB. tried lots of options and it just doesn't work for me.

As previously posted I carry my , Sig 938 in a CJ own leather holster. But bad conditions and bad locations dictate my gun and holster. In locations in Durham I carry my Glock 23:with 9 mm conversion stainless barrel in my own handmade Kydex holster owb16158499830642959577976378251866.jpg

I got this in today. It works and flexes perfect with my fatboy belt.
I got the same kind of clips from TR Holsters out of NC. That is the absolute best compromise between the convenient on/off of a paddle and the security of a pancake. I pop the holster on and off multiple times per day but have never pulled the holster off during a draw.

CZ-P07 OWB, TR holster: a casual, summer-weight blazer over a good quality t-shirt covers a multitude of sins and actually is fairly cool, keeping the sun off one's arms: warning, a double-vent can sometimes get caught on the equipment, especially when egressing from a car.

Yes sir. Belts are important.

Fatboys, and what I used to wear when we could still go to church. 5.11s

I've carried my VP9 in a JM Custom Kydex built OWB. Snugs up tight at 4:00. I still prefer my Sig 938 due to weight so I don't go full size unless I suspect I'm heading somewhere sketchy.

No one mentioned belts. Without a decent gun belt it really doesn't matter. Right now I'm using a Mean Gene and it's pretty solid. Not really endorsing them but just an example of many out there.

I have a 5.11 that the metal belt clips on a IWB holster destroyed the leather. I have a Beltman that I use for my "dress up" gun belt but I use a Blue Alpha Gear 99% of the time.

You don’t wear a Fat Boy to church? Mine are the only belts I wear...no matter where I’m going.

As I type that, I realize I wear dressier jeans to church, not slacks. So maybe the Fat Boy wouldn’t work with dress pant loops.
