I normally order from Dennis Kirk if they carry the part and have it in stock, because, a) they show their inventory, and b) they ship VERY fast.

I ordered parts from three different vendors late Wednesday afternoon.

Most of the parts were made by Thrashing Supply Co., and Dennis Kirk didn’t have them.

Thrashin Supply will ship direct, but you can’t tell on their site if they actually have the items (that they make in house) currently in stock.

So I ordered from Revzilla since they showed stock (owned by Comoto, who also owns Cycle Gear and JP Cycle).

Turns out I needed/wanted some additional Thrashin parts, so I ordered direct from Thrashin.

And some other parts from a third small fabricator.

Thrashin order, shipped direct from Thrashin is arriving today.

Small fab parts from the small fab house arriving today.

The Thrashin parts that showed in stock at Revzilla, aren't being shipped by Revzilla, but drop-shipped from some other vendor (might be JP or Cycle Gear), but haven’t shipped yet, and Revzilla is just guessing over the phone that it will ship today.

Additionally, re: Comoto, I had had issues with JP in the past on one or two orders.

Never really had problems with Cycle Gear, (also Comoto) but I don’t know if the Comoto acquisition has changed things.

So Comoto dealers are going to get pushed further back onto the back burner next time.

Oh, and as an aside, Drag Specialities. You can not call them or contact them to ask questions about the products they make or distribute (they do both). You have to call a dealer, who often won’t know or be able to open the Drag box the product is in to give you a dimension, or whatever it is you need to know.

Bought heaps of stuff from rockymountainatv.

They do sell a good bit of street bike stuff but I was mainly shopping for dirt bike and dual sport stuff. They are usually the first place I look.

since JP is here in sturgis, i have the rpm membership and order most parts from them. only problem i had was the other day with a tire order, their computer system messed up and assigned the order number to another order (and it didnt show the tire order in my order history). called and spoke with a guy who couldnt fix it (then i accidentally hung up...stupid new phone), a supervisor called me back and had everything looked up and ready to resolve and offered a discount on the tire.

im just waiting on the refund to clear and then will reorder the tire.

and thrashin is good stuff 👍

I order most or get most of my stuff from my HD dealer, even stuff I could order online. Most of it is the same price. I kinda like my parts guy, he’s a smart ass yankee, but we jihad, if you know what I mean. I feel like his pay is dependent on what he sells, and I don’t mind keeping it local, but my dealer is very convenient to my job.

I had a thread somewhere about when I ordered the Fox shocks for my bike from J&P or some big online retailer, a bunch of BS with them.

I order a lot from HD on-line (and in store for painted parts). They make it easy to return stuff too. They send me a $40 HD gift card for on-line orders about every third order now.

I have ALWAYS had great service from Revzilla....also JP.....cycle gear had some hiccups but they made it right.

I wouldn't buy a $20 bill for 5 bucks from my closest HD dealer...to each his/her own.

American Classic the place I got my bike from has an online store.

Mike also has one...GREAT guy BTW!

Ricky has killer deals on tuners

Hopefully the order placed last Wednesday afternoon with Revzilla for an “in stock” item (that turns out they are drop shipping) will ship today.

So, my package from Revzilla arrived from Las Vegas ten minutes ago. So that’s good.

The shipping notification appeared in my email in-box about the same time, lol.

Looks like it shipped Friday, but Revzilla customer service couldn’t see that in their system yesterday when I called.

We’ll call that a first world problem.

Used to be called NewEnough, they started, mostly, as a source to sell second-hand gear. Then they just started carrying new stuff

Ive bought from them about a dozen times, each time theyd offer a 'rebate' if you reviewed the item (the amount was based on cost of product), and you could use this money for more gear.
Great customer service, good shipping time etc

Used to be Dennis Kirk when I had new bikes but I've found Partzilla has more stuff for older bikes.
