Why no Alcohol "red flag" laws?

Why do the police not have "red flag" type laws for vehicle key confiscation for binge drinking or alcoholics? More people are in danger from these type people than any guns.

Tax revenue?
Nah. They can’t get tax revenue on meth and heroine and give people free second, third , and fourth chances with narcan.

Alcohol doesn’t allow us to be independent and resistant of gov

Hey, I like my booze. Having some now. However, I’m sure not going to go driving a car or assault my wife.

Be careful what you ask for, it may just come true. Not to debate that alcoholics don't kill innocent people, we all know they do. How about texting while driving. Should we have red flag laws for this also? Where does it stop? Remember, our constitution gives ua all due process.

What if..... You and your wife were at home, after consuming alcohol, and the dogs start barking. So, a neighbor calls the police and they respond. Upon arrival they find you intoxicated and ask if you have any weapons in the house? What then? Will they put you on the Alcosensor? Will they think that you are a danger to yourself or others by having firearms in the home? Will they "declare" you a threat and take your guns? This is a very realistic scenario. This is a huge concern involving the "Red Flag" laws.

I know this thread is facetious, but.....

Probably not....

In how many of those instances of "firearms violence" was alcohol involved? Nevermind that suicides are being used to weigh those statistics in some very blatant bias.

Funny that when you get more localized with murder stats and focus on the cities, the top contenders in the US are sh*tholes that have been controlled by democrats for the past 80 years. No point in mentioning other demographics, I suppose.

And thats just drunk drivers.

Alcohol fuels all kinds of mayhem.

And deaths come from that fuel far more times than just vehicular events.

Way bigger concern then the few events that trigger all the antigun outrage by the left.

I would wager that alcohol presents more danger than guns and all other drugs combined. People don't want to listen to what alcohol does to your body, it's poison. Not to mention the insane behavior that goes along with it's consumption. Plenty of people hurt/kill themselves or others related to alcohol use.

It's socially acceptable by the entire political spectrum. The end.

And they've figured out an effective method of taxation on so many different layers. Sale/purchasing, licensing, distribution, sin...add too that all the laws you can be fined for while under the influence of alcohol.

I'm just saying it further demonstrates how gun control, gun laws, red flag... whatever / its never been about saving lives. They might have actually accomplished something decades ago if that had been the mission from the beginning.

But they decided it was racist and stuff.

Our government doesn't care about anyone's lives but their own. Everything they do is either about money, control or both.
