I'm damn glad they cured the flu, as was noted in the article.
Now they don't have any distractions to keep them from hammering this C19 mess.
 
I'm going to seek out a chinese restaurant that serves bat soup. I have to see if all this was worth it.
 
We made it a long time at work without a single case, then a few guys were careless and half our staff is now out and it is spreading through their families. No mortalities yet.

Any idea where they caught it? From what I’ve read, 75% of cases are not traceable, so was curious.
 
Last Friday I learned that we've had our first positive case in the office. Of course, it wasn't an official notice. While HIPPA is one thing, but its not as if everyone doesn't know who it is because of the absense if nothing else, everyone else has a right to know if they've been potentially exposed and should be afforded the ability to take proper precautions as a result.

We know who brought it in to us just by timing, otherwise no idea and don’t think anyone is even trying to track it.
 
Gov. Cuomo wanted 360,000 ventilators. My SIL works in hospitals on Long Island, many of her friends in other area hospitals were getting folks with CV transferred into LI hospitals from hospitals in Queens, NYC. JUST NUTS. Javits Center Hospital underutilized, 3,000 beds with Oxygen supply, miles of tubing and electrical hookups wasted as well as the Hospital Ship Comfort. No doubt this was done to kill people and blame Trump. They try another two weeks to flatten the curve and the US Economy will go flat line.

No way to stop this without a vaccine or therapeutics. Distancing and/or masks are not helping.

This with me not being a scientist or doctor, just observing without bias.

Oh, no the economy will not survive on life support.

Positive test results mean dick and are not covid-19. You can test positive for sars-cov-2 and more likely a different strain, you do not automatically have covid-19. Covid-19 is a diagnosis not a test. If you arent sick you don't have covid-19 sorry. It's bullshit and people need to get over it. If you are in the danger zone then take the same precautions you would as with the flu. The mortality rate isn't that different.
