I'm hopefully going this week to look at an octagon barrel Winchester 92 rifle and Colt .41 Thunderer that an old couple has that they want advice on regarding selling them. No idea the caliber of the 92 or condition of either. The pictures I received looked like they were taken through the wrong end of a telescope. Pretty excited to see what they have, treasure or trash? Stay tuned.

They were sent home with me to sell. The Winchester 92 is a 1923 .25-20 octagon barrel rifle. The revolver is a Colt model 1877 .41 Colt made in 1895-96. The rifle has nice wood but pitting on the exterior. Haven't checked the bore on the rifle yet. Might be a good shooter or a candidate for relining to 32-20 . The revolver sorta works but is a bit rough.
