Good to meet you @HMP! We need to make a N Davidson Biscuits and Bullets thing happen maybe after the holidays. I hate that I didn't get to speak with some of the other forum members, but y'all were busy. That's a good thing.

And the more I deal with the Defender ammo guys, the more I like them!

It was also great to meet @MadMan4Ever too!

HMP and I discussed getting us DC folk together for a biscuit and maybe go afterwards and shoot stuff. Apparently, there are a handful of us that live pretty close to each other. You know, just to put names with faces, stuff said faces and tell some tall tales.

Well it turns out he lives about 5 from me. Another member is about 3 from me (and 2 or 3 from him). And we reckon theres a couple more in the ND area. So why not get up sometime, get some breakfast, and then sling some lead!
 
Sounds like fun. Any thoughts on where you'll shoot? I'm fairly close to Wesmar but I only shoot at home so far.

He has already booked the next show, and I am hear to tell you he’s a grade A guy. I and my dad easily bought over $500 worth from him.

Ground Zero Ballistics is his business and his products are top quality. It is almost a shame to shoot them. :D
 
As for Watchdog tactical, I bought the wrong size belt at the last show and they were quite friendly and easy to exchange it out for the correct size.

For that, I ended up buying an extra belt for my dad, as well as three holsters. :confused::D

So far the appendix carry style is fast, but a little uncomfortable, I reason this would be true with any holster on the first day of using it though. I really love how fast it is though...

And don’t even start on how much Defender ammo I bought.... I probably put
Aaron’s kids thru medical school this’s weekend... :D:eek:
 
Defender guys were super nice and answered my questions about their ammo and other topics as well. I was surprised to see they had frangible 556 ammo at a good price...made me rethink trading off my upper because their practice stuff was so nicely priced. Plus they made a mistake ringing up my order and undercharged me...when i pointed it out they knocked a little off just because I was honest. I will definitely buy from them again.

I wanted some of those steel targets..but alas nowhere to shoot them.
 
Great show for us. Picked up a Golani Sporter, which I've wanted to try for a while. Hopefully this is one of the good ones. As with most things built by Century, some of them (not all, or even most) had QC issues. I found out Numrich had a sale on the mags, so I ordered a pile of them on the assumption this is a keeper. :rolleyes:

HMP does have some nice looking designs. Always good to stop and chat with him.
