Ok, I do a lot with Microsoft Word for school/work.
Right now Im trying to recreate an old quiz and cut back on paper use etc. What I need to do is create 1.5 space between each item, but NOT have 1.5 spacing within the same item that extends into multiple lines.

Example being #10, how it is one line but goes onto two lines...I dont want it to have separation but then have space below and above it

Not sure exactly what Word calls it but you're looking for different formatting settings: one is "line spacing" to apply to the entire document and another "paragraph format" to fine tune indents, spacing, etc. It might be as simple as highlight one question, right click, select "paragraph format" or something similar, repeat.

That and you can change your margins...that will give you more space.

Or the “I don’t want to figure it out” way…set it to .75 and hit enter twice between questions. 🤓

shift-enter to manually put in line breaks instead of creating new paragraphs?

There is a paragraph spacing button, click it, select the option for space after paragraph, set to whatever you want.

When you hit “enter” it creates a new paragraph.
When you hit “shift” then ”enter” it creates a carriage return, no new paragraph.

edit: oops, didn’t see @DrScaryGuy post.

can you use format painter and pick one (like #9) that is formatted correctly and apply it to the others that don’t?

THIS WORKED! Thank you!

Use a really small font.
Post the answer section on a poster board at the front of the room.

According to CRT, expecting correct answers is racist and projecting your intellectual superiority over others. Expecting answers at all is supremacist and akin to slavery, so why bother?

What you want to do is to not use 1.5 spacing. Highlight your text and click on "Paragraph" Under the "Spacing" it should be Before =0 After=18pt (which every size you want) and line spacing=single and make sure the box below is UNchecked. it is the 18pt font after that gives you the spacing you want. Change the 18pt to your desired spacing.
