I guessed smelt. I didn't think it was a word, either. The game accepts some oddball words - "innit" for example - and rejects other perfectly acceptable ones. That's pretty strange, innit.

I figured out how to copy the result. Looks like I just won’t see stats any more since I am too stubborn to create the free account.
 
Dangit! I miss out on a couple of days and come back to a setup like that. FWIW, I would’ve needed 8 guesses to finally get it, because my hypothetical next guess would’ve been wrong too.

So at least I can take solace in the thought that I was losing this one.
