I've been starting with "stare" (or "aster") but thanks for the tip, I think I'll try adieu.

Today's puzzle was tough for me.

Usually STARE. Wife suggested BREAD last week.

DOUBT is also a good one, but I’d probably change my first guess to SCARE or SHARE, and then if zero correct letters move to DOUBT.

I could’ve missed it completely. My 5th guess didn’t start with either of those. So my 50/50 guess was the 6th attempt. 😳
 
Forgot to use the yellow one from the second guess when I chose a word for the third one…🙄

They let me think I had it for a second! I was just trying to use up letters on guesses 4 and 5 because I was stumped. Not the best strategy for this one.
