My girlfriend is taking a travel job to Yuma, AZ and I was wondering if anyone is from there or has any information about the place. She will be working at the Yuma Regional Medical Center for thirteen weeks. She wants a house or apartment near work, but in a good area. Thank you for any help. I'm tagging along with my bike to ride and my rifle to hunt varmints and predators if there are any out there.

@Bradman i currently live here in Yuma and my wife is a nurse at YRMC. There aren’t too many good areas around the hospital but Yuma is so small you are never far from anything. We live out in the Fortuna Foothills and l love it out here., very safe and quiet. Good news is you’ll be here during a great time of the year, you don’t want to be here in the summer, trust me…..

I didn't go. She went and was underwhelmed, but the pay is good. lol. I told her to lower her expectations and she likes the people at YRMC, but as you know there's not much to do. Thanks for your information and following up. I forgot to mention that she did extend her assignment, so she will be back in July.
