Working on a load for the 6 Creed

I’ve been debating on building a 6cm or even a 22cm I’m sure your load will hold up. How far are you off the lands. My 6.5x284 was very picky on the seating depth. .010 off the lands was the magic number for that rifle

I'm .020 off the lands.
Perfect my father was a reloader back when reloading was in every man’s basement. He and all my uncle’s stood behind .020 off the lands. I think the amount of free bore is just as critical as powder charges. Seems my numbers is .010 to .020 so I guess those ole fellers knew a little more than they let on.

It's all a bit relative. Many of the tools we use such as calibers have an error that can be off by a thousandths. The average scale can be off by plus/minus a tenth of a grain. It's an inherent error rate unless you spend a lot of money for lab quality equipment. I guess as long as you are consistent in your "error" ;)
