World record form 1 approval

Submitted for a form 1 on 6 March. Was contacted to correct a typo 14 March. I corrected within the hour of receiving the direct email, and within 10 minutes of that had a stamped form 1. I've never had anything happen that fast with the ATF...
I'm waiting on a form 4 since January 5th or so. I wonder if I get another one if it will come back before the current one. 🤔

I “certified” for one today. Guy at the shop was talking about the crazy “short” (couple months compared to the 12 mo+ average over the last few years) turn around times on some form 4s lately. He said unfortunately, older ones still seem to be hanging around waiting on approval, so it seems these newer filings are taking priority over those already filed…ATF, go figure! 🤔

Clearing a newer filing first dramatically skews their average time to process. They're intentionally doing that because they got spanked for not being in compliance.

I was just thinking they just want to get all you heavy hitters on the top of there hit list as soon as possible KNOCK, KNOCK. .:D:D:D;)

Bingo! Basic manipulation of numbers; very basic for bureaucrats.

It’s tempting to get another suppressor, I’ve been wanting a new Turbo T3/K but I like keeping all of my NFA stuff in my trust and all of the info I’m seeing lately is that only individual forms are coming back super fast.

I’m buying as individual, then transferring to trust later. Figure it’s a $200 fee to have the can in hand months sooner.

I’m too cheap for that haha. If it were my first MG or an SBR I’ve wanted for a looong time, I might be able to convince myself to do the double tax.

Nfa trust here.

This is what they're formally reporting, I agree with the above statement that they're running current at a priority over the ones in queue longer to manipulate they're overall numbers to be lower.
