Looking for a American Flag patch with a Velcro backing and Velcro base to attach to the hat.

Some might say an American Flag with hook and loop fastener attachment.

Thanks!

Ed

PM me your address and I’ll mail you one Monday. I have about a thousand of them it seems like

Just to confirm: these flags have the stars in the upper right corner and are worn on the right shoulder

You probably have some sweet patches from desert regions too

Color or subdued?
I've got a subdued one I used to have on on my pack. Never served, got tired of explaining that to people so off it came.
I imagine one stamp will get it there, it's yours if you want it.

The funny thing is, that’s not the type of patch servicemembers use. It’s a normal flag, not reversed. I got no issue with it either way...don’t need to be a vet to wave the flag

I know, but the general public doesn't.
Never had an issue from anyone that I knew was or claimed to be a veteran. Just random people wanting to thank one, which is a decent thing for them to do, but I'm not, and most wouldn't just let it go at that.

I never wore the 'reversed' flag when I had to wear a flag patch in the Navy. Nor did we wear any patches on the right arm (hence using the 'un-reversed' flag on the right). And that was all pre-Velcro days, too. I did the 'reverse' style.

Not much need for a flag patch on Navy Whites :p

The Army left arm is for current unit insignia. Right sleeve was blank for a lot of people (combat patch or shoulder sleeve insignia- former wartime service SSI-FWTS) so I think that’s why they went with the right sleeve for the flag.

The Army started sewing them on Pre-Velcro days....I think the ALARACT message was from Late ‘03? Sewed them on BDUs then DCUs until OCONUS; since we wore IBA’s all the time so a lot of us had the TCN sewing shop folks move the bottom two blouse pockets up to the shoulders, and sew a rectangle of Velcro onto them for unit patches/flag patches/IR tabs etc
