Almost immediately after having a new set of Dunlop "Harley Davidson" tires put on my 2005 Fatboy, I ran across some wheels that I had been looking for. Instead of pulling the new tires back off of my stock wheels, I just bought a new set for the new wheels instead. I figured I'd save the old wheels in case I didn't like the new ones. Turns out I love the new ones, and now the stock wheels are just in my way. I never realized how popular the solid wheels are as the rear wheel on many other bikes. Especially those that have been enhanced for more power and torque. The solid wheels can handle power that will sometimes pop spokes. I had offered the set for sale until recently when I decided to sell individually. Someone has purchased the complete rear wheel assembly, and I now only have this front wheel. Wheel is a 16x3 solid Fatboy wheel, complete with bearings and brake rotor. Tire is the Dunlop "Harley Davidson" and is brand new with less than 100 miles on it. I basically rode it home after having new tires installed, then rode it back to have the wheels changed. This is the front wheel, but I have been told by some folks that it can be flipped and the drive pulley bolted to the wheel and used as a rear wheel. If this is true, I suppose the tire would need to be flipped as well? Anyway, do your homework before deciding if this will or will not work. It should fit as a front wheel on any Softail model from about 2000-2007 or so. Again, do your homework & check with your mechanic.
The new tire & installation cost me over $200. The entire wheel assembly can be yours for $150. Will meet in Alexander/Catawba County area.
