Which do you have or would buy over the other.

Im not a gamer but I would ply with my children. Just wondered what was the better of the two.

My youngest had a PS3 he bought new maybe ten years ago. I drove it across Wake County to the repair shop probably three times during that time, and return after repair three times. Six one hour round trips. It routinely fried itself.

I think he ended up with an XBox. Can’t remember the track record with that. I had PTSD from the PS3

My son absolutely prefers his Xbox over PS4. Don’t think he’s even turned the PS4 on in 2+ years.

Interesting, we still use our circa 2010 PS3 for blu rays and occasional gaming. Never a single problem.
 
I prefer the ergonomics of the Xbox controller over PS4. Also if you want the newest console, Xbox Series X and PS5 are out now, even though they’re still pretty hard to find.
 
I usually end up with both consoles, but prefer the Xbox over the Playstation. From the controller, to the online service, it is my favorite.
 
If your kids want to play online with anyone, you need to find out what console they use.

We are an Xbox family, but that is because of my son’s choice to play with his friends.
 
I purchased an Xbox on which to play Dark Souls III (only video game I own/play).

But if you want to play Bloodborne, PS only.

That's the limit of my experience between the two.
 
I've always been an XBOX guy, but it seems with the PS4 and PS5 have ran past the XBOX's - in terms of both popularity and exclusive games. If I had to pick one right now, I'd go with a PS5.
