XDs 3.3 vs 4, I'd like to try both

So right now I've got and XDs 3.3 in 45 that I like quite well. I'd like to try the 4" version just to see if there is much difference. I understand the guns are exactly the same except one hangs an extra 0.70" out the front but I'd still like to try it. Anyone around Denver have one they wouldn't mind letting me try?

Anyone shot both and experienced a difference? Or maybe no difference?
