Many Democrats are not really stupid but rather are really evil and think other people are stupid enough to believe what they say. Their flock does seem to be lead easily by lies, a few handouts, and things that are just not true. Dumb as a fox.

Yes.

There is an old saying (paraphrasing): "Don't ascribe to malice what can be explained by stupidity" or similar. Problem is, the planetary supply of malice has been quite underestimated lately.

I seem to remember that Ike had to remind himself constantly that insubordination and incompetence should not be confused with each other. He was pretty good at telling the difference.

That reads the same as "if someone hadn't brought their adult tiger to the mall, those eight people wouldn't have been mauled! It's illegal to have a tiger in the mall and if that individual had just followed the rules, this tragedy could have been prevented".
