If your vehicle was made in the last few years, you’re probably driving around in a data-harvesting machine
that may collect personal information as sensitive as your race, weight, and sexual activity.

Surely glad my fleet doesnt do this type of thing. New cars cost so much. Tattletales LOL. This started years ago with black box type recorders in cars for the data. Way worse now.

Think all the cameras
And oh that microphone

Yay for auto start stop

I wonder what that does to battery life. When a phone can’t find a tower it will boost its power usage to try it reach out.

When I would work for hours in a server room that had no signal, my phone‘s battery would drain much faster, but this was years ago.
Yeh it will drain the battery faster than usual unless you put phone on airplane mode

My old 82 Ford Granada had two stains on the backseat from a chick that sat up sans pants. I'll spare the details, but that car would have had some sex life to report to the mothership if it were up to modern standards. Instead I had a sister that used the car on occasion to report to all her friends about sights and smells in the car.

Ford ceo says i got to make 100k to afford his new vehicles, i dont forsee encountering this issue...ever
That’s all well and good until the affordable brands incorporate “luxury” features like this. It’s akin to shitting in the pool. It might not get you right now but eventually the bad idea gets everywhere.
