Only if it misses. Seriously, Ben was talking out his butt when he says it can't have been Sandpeople who killed the Jawas because the blast points are too precise. Stormtroopers can't hit a guy in the same room with a state of the art blaster with assisting optics but Sandpeople can pot speeders doing hundreds of miles an hour at a full deflection shot from several hundred yards plus with the equivalent of muzzloading blasters and iron sights.
